Jahan Green

As a lifelong advocate, I will always go the extra mile to help someone. I put the utmost emphasis on
client experience. Throughout my youth, I have given back to my community; from facilitating clothes
drives to shadow funding academic risk-preventative programs–directly impacting the lives of millions of people fundamentally changed mine forever. After receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics, I moved cross country to Washington, D.C. leaping into the political arena. In the CBCF (Congressional Black Caucus Foundation), I was key in strategizing, fundraising, and problem-solving in a think tank for innovative solutions. My entrance into the field of insurance began with working with a captive agency at State Farm. While at State Farm I was able to observe how captive agents reinvest their profits to streamline and make their processes more efficient but one thing was missing: advocacy. I strived to work in an office, which held my values of inclusivity and advocacy at the core of its organizing praxis–RightAway Insurance.

I brought innovative ideas and drew from my past experiences to help take the agency to the next level. Working closely with the agency owner, I quickly rose through the ranks from customer service
representative, to agent, to the vice president because of my invaluable insight. We can offer customers the most competitive coverage for inexpensive prices, due to our expansive marketplace, and ability to advocate for customers. From investments in technology and creating systems, we have the perfect blend of building a business and the tools needed to advocate for the ultimate boss: our consumers.
